Our Chalet-style hotel is situated on a hill in a picturesque location above Zermatt with a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn (easily accessible via private lift). You can come from Rothorn paradise right to our hotel on skis. The bar offers a cosy fireplace and a tasteful lounge area. You are certain to feel at home in this familiar and homely atmosphere. All our rooms are non-smoking and offer free Internet access. All our mattresses have a size of 90x200cm (per person).

Frequently asked Questions
How do I get from the train station to the hotel?
We offer free pick up service from the train station Zermatt to the hotel and back between 08.00am and 11.30am as well as 01.00pm and 07.00pm. Please give us a phone call as soon as you arrived at Zermatt train station on +41 27 966 60 66.
Our car is in the color "blue" and it is written "Hotel Alpenroyal" on it.
If you should arrive after 07:00pm we please you to take a public taxi from the train station Zermatt to the Hotel (at your own charge). You can find public taxis all the time at the train station (24 hours).
How far ist he hotel form the town center?
Once you are our guest, you will have access to the private lift. This will enable you to reach all important places (such as the bus stop and main street) in just a few minutes by foot.
The private lift should only be used for transporting persons only and may not be used with luggage.
Check-in starting from 03:00pm – can I do a early check-in?
Yes, if you should arrive before 03:00pm and your room is not available, you can deposit your luggage at the reception desk till your room is ready.
Kindly we ask you to give us a phone call if you should arrive after 10:00pm.
We will leave you then all information for a Self-Check-in at the reception desk.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Dogs are welcome in the hotel at an extra charge of CHF 20.00 per day (2 bowls will be provided / without food).
The dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room. Howewer, if you wish to bring your „Love“ with you, we can prepare a table by the bar area for you. Please mention your dog when you book your room.
